Los Angeles, CA – SHARE!, The Self-Help and Recovery Exchange, is pleased to announce the appointment of five distinguished professionals to its Board of Directors, reinforcing the organization’s mission to provide immediate housing and peer-led support to individuals in need. These new board members bring a wealth of expertise spanning real estate, finance, strategy, and nonprofit leadership, further strengthening SHARE!’s ability to address the urgent housing and recovery challenges facing the Los Angeles County community.

After an extensive search, we are proud to welcome a group of distinguished professionals—graduates of the nation’s top universities—whose collective experience will be instrumental in advancing SHARE!’s growth and success,” said Brian D. Meet the New Board Members:

 

Fred Cordova, SHARE! Board President – Cordova, Founder & CEO of Corion Enterprises, is a visionary real estate leader with extensive experience in finance, banking, equity, debt, and capital structure. He has held executive and partnership roles at top commercial real estate and banking firms, bringing deep expertise in both public and private sectors. As the Founder & Managing Director of the Home 4 Today Foundation, Fred is dedicated to advancing home-sharing solutions in Los Angeles County by uniting social service agencies, nonprofits, and community stakeholders to create sustainable housing opportunities. A former CPA, he combines financial acumen with strategic leadership to drive impactful initiatives. Fred holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and International Studies, graduating Cum Laude, and an MBA in Marketing & Real Estate from Harvard University.

 

Jeffrey Heintz, SHARE! Board Vice President – Heintz, Partner at Munger, Tolles & Olson, is a leading real estate attorney specializing in transactional matters, acquisitions, and commercial leasing. With extensive experience advising both public and private institutions, he brings a deep understanding of government and private-sector negotiations, which will be instrumental in expanding SHARE!’s housing initiatives. Heintz has held key leadership roles within the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Real Property Section, including serving on the executive committee and co-chairing the Leasing and Commercial Development Subsection. His legal expertise and strategic guidance will help SHARE! navigate complex real estate opportunities for sustainable growth. Heintz earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and his B.S., with highest honors, from Ohio Northern University.

 

Jennifer Chan, SHARE! Treasurer – Chan, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles, brings extensive expertise in finance, operations, and nonprofit leadership. Overseeing a $100-million operating budget, she ensures financial sustainability and strategic growth to support the organization’s long-term mission. With a background in investment banking, asset management, hospitality, and fashion retail, Jennifer transitioned to the nonprofit sector in 2012 to apply her financial and leadership skills toward a greater cause. As a strategic partner in organizational planning, she has played a key role in aligning financial strategy with mission-driven goals. Her expertise will be invaluable in strengthening SHARE!’s fiscal strategy and operational efficiency. Chan holds a B.S. in Economics (Finance and Accounting) from The Wharton School.

 

John Semcken, SHARE! Board Member – John Semcken, Executive Vice President at Majestic Realty, is a leader in commercial real estate development, with a track record that includes spearheading the $400 million Staples Center project in Los Angeles. His expertise in public-private partnerships and high-profile real estate ventures will be invaluable in expanding SHARE!’s impact and securing critical resources to further its mission. A dedicated philanthropist, John co-founded the Land of the Free Foundation and serves on multiple boards, including the U.S. Naval Academy Foundation Board of Trustees, the Metropolitan YMCA Board of Directors, the LA Sports and Entertainment Commission, and the LA Civic Alliance. He was honored with the Boy Scouts of America Good Character Award. Semcken holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.

 

Hanoz Gandhi, SHARE! Board Member – Gandhi, Chief Analytics Officer & EVP of Strategy at BDS Connected Solutions, LLC, brings extensive experience in data-driven strategy, market expansion, and innovation. Having built and led analytics teams at major financial institutions and global corporations, he specializes in leveraging data to drive efficiency, optimize operations, and accelerate growth. His expertise in digital business models and revenue optimization will help SHARE! streamline operations, strengthen outreach, and support its capital campaign goals serving the community—ensuring data and analytics play a key role in advancing the organization’s impact. Hanoz holds both a Bachelor and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

 

These appointments come at a critical time as SHARE! continues to expand its programs, including Collaborative Housing, Recovery Retreats, and strategic community partnerships, to provide efficient, effective, and immediate support to those in need.
