Libby Hartigan, SHARE!’s Director of Training, developed the renowned SHARE! Advanced Peer Specialist Curriculum, which was approved as a qualifying curriculum for the Mental Health America National Certification of Peer Specialists. SHARE! also is a CalMHSA-authorized training entity for California Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification as well as Specializations in Peer Services for Unhoused People, Peer Services for Justice Involved and Peer Services in Crisis Care.

Since 206, SHARE! has trained and placed more than 800 Peer Specialists in Peer Support jobs in 34 California counties. Libby continually modifies SHARE!’s training to meet the needs of SHARE! staff, programs and residents.

The training helps staff develop competency and expertise in the practice of supporting people to a better life, whether that means getting recovery, housing, employment or other goals. SHARE!’s training ensures Peer Specialists quickly develop the skills and practice to successfully support people.
